Welcoming the age of AI Agents
Let’s start with a quick flashback, two years back, we welcomed the very first instances of GPTs in our life, in forms of Chatbots. Big bang moment… All of a sudden AI started to gain exponential popularity in the mainstream.
Then the race has started and still going on, the race of building the best of best LLM, with Y billion parameters, Z number of tokens, For most of us, does make a significant change in our lives, as most of us are using it in primitive level.
But still, most of us has the urge to try the latest and greatest LLM, and that urge is there to stay for a bit longer in my opinion. It is no surprise to hear almost every month we see on the news, “ABC Model beats EFG model, it is the best of best so far… and then in two weeks time, you hear another one bites the dust.
Now let’s make some predictions about the future. I guess you already see it coming from the title. Just like chatbots become somewhat a companion for most of us in our day to day work, in near future, we will be welcoming the AI Agents that we program to support us with the repetitive, labor-intensive tasks. It is already possible via some frameworks but still not in the “no-code” level that mainstream users can easily configure.
Just a dummy example.. Imagine a future where you’re supported by a team of AI Agents acting as your personal social media crew. These agents are powered by the latest in conversational AI technology and equipped with what I refer to as a “temporal mind state.” This advanced feature allows them to understand and remember the context, much like a human, using this knowledge to make informed decisions over time. Your AI crew would constantly scan trending topics across various platforms, identifying those that resonate most with your audience. It would then suggest creative content ideas tailored to these trends, review the content for quality and relevance, create compelling visuals to accompany the posts, schedule them for optimal engagement times, and even interact with your followers in the comments. This AI team, by ‘remembering’ your brand’s voice and your audience’s preferences over time, ensures your social media strategy is both dynamic and effective, keeping your online presence vibrant and engaged.
I hear you saying, what about humans? That is the most important factor that will hardly ever change in future, human oversight. In my opinion, there should be always a human in the loop to supervise and monitor the outcomes. I guess this is another prediction, all these post market surveillance will become much more important, much more straightforward as such that we will able to process all this incoming information as humans.
Mark my words so that you can challenge me back in the comments if we don’t hit that moment.
