Deha Kuran
AI Executive · Engineer · Evangelist · Head of AI Business Operations at Philips
Deha Kuran has spent 18+ years building enterprise AI across healthcare, automotive, semiconductors, and enterprise technology. He currently serves as Head of AI Business Operations at Philips Data & AI, where he leads the engine that turns AI strategy into production-ready products and stewards multi-million-dollar investments across GenAI and MLOps ecosystems.
Before Philips, he co-founded Rapitek Medikal (a medical-device startup for rapid blood-coagulation analysis, 2013–2016), led firmware and autonomous- driving software teams at NXP Semiconductors, and managed software engineering groups at Siemens. The throughline: building things in domains where failure has real consequences.
He is the founder of the AI 4 Society Observatory, a live platform tracking the societal impact of AI — pairing every identified risk with concrete, actionable solutions, with all agent output gated by human review. He writes and speaks publicly on the case that AI must redesign broken systems, not augment them — augmentation introduces new risks onto old fault lines.
